2006 brings about major changes in the facilities available to the Bulldog Football team! The Edmond Public School District has just completed the new DogHouse. At a cost of just over $2 million dollars, the DogHouse is a 50,000 square foot facility that houses the football program as well as providing facilities for Cheer, Pom and classrooms.
The feature room of the facility is the 8000 square foot weight lifting facility, The Adams Room. The Edmond Memorial Football Foundation was charged with the task of providing the training equipment for the facility and was successful in the goal of raising over $125,000 to equip the room. The Adams Room sports state of the art free weight lifting systems that enable 100 athletes to simultaneously lift. A source of pride is the fact that all EMHS Football coaches are certified Strength trainers by USA Weightlifting. These facilities, along with our expert staff, provide tremendous opportunities and advantages to current and prospective EMHS football athletes. The Adams Room and the NEW DogHouse are the finest High School training facilities on the west side of our state and perhaps the entire state. Head Coach Mark Walker says the following:
"Wow, what an awesome time to be a bulldog! We have the best facility in the state. The wonderful support of administration and parents through the Foundation is unbelievable. The team effort between the two groups has given our student athletes an unbelievable opportunity to become the best. I am proud of the pride these great changes have brought about among our student athletes. The ability for so many different Bulldog programs to benefit from these new facilities is tremendous. This life-long commitment to students of EMHS is invaluable."We couldn’t agree more, Coach Walker.

The Edmond Junior Varsity teams and the Freshman team play their home games on the campus of Edmond Memorial High School. In 2006 a state of the art all weather turf surface was installed, featuring a prominent “Dogs” logo at midfield and school color end zones. It is flanked to the southwest by our brand new Dog House!
With the Visitors’ section on the right (south) and the Home section on the left (north), the newly built stands can host several hundred onlookers. Everyone has a great seat to watch the game, plus easy access to restrooms and concessions.

Edmond Memorial High School is a school of 2000+ students and over 100 faculty and staff members. Classified by the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association as a 6A-School, EMHS competes at the top level in each of the Oklahoma high school sports.

From I-35: From the North (Wichita) or from the South (Oklahoma City, Dallas) take Exit 140, Turn West onto 15th Street. Stay on 15th for approximately 2 1/2 miles. EMHS is located on the South (left) side of 15th Street between Bryant and Boulevard and the football field is on your left as you pull into the first driveway. Parking is next to the stadium. The Visitors’ section is on the right (south) end and the Home section is on the left (north).
From I-235 (Broadway Extension, Centennial Expressway): From OKC, take I-235 heading north into Edmond. The freeway will end, continue heading north for approximately 2 miles. Turn right (east) onto 15th Street. Stay on 15th for 1˝ miles. EMHS is located on the right (south) side of 15th Street between Bryant and Boulevard. The football field is on the east side of the school. Parking is next to the stadium. The Visitors’ section is on the right (south) end and the Home section is on the left (north).

The field is a modern artificial surface which provides great traction regardless of the weather conditions. This year, visitors will be treated to new field level stands, enhanced video displays, audio refinements and a new lighting system.
